Keira Knightly dazzles in this vintage Chanel dress on the Hollywood red carpet
It was a night when it was crucial for Keira Knightley to display a bit of French chic.
Keira was strutting the red carpet during a screening in Beverly Hills of her new film, Colette, in which she recreates the scorching life of the famous French novelist.
Keira’s dress evoked the lost glamor of the Roaring Twenties, combining heaps of lace and ostrich feathers, which she paired with silver strappy sandals and bling earrings.
And just for good measure, she posed with a seductive pout, painted in bright red lipstick.
Keira’s vintage look was a fitting move in her role as author of Gigi, which was at its creative peak in the 1920s.
Keira said of Colette, published on Friday: “It’s about feminism, gender politics, sex politics and celebrity couples, so these are very relevant things for today.”
Keira, 33, has been the face of Chanel perfume since 2007, for which she would earn a six-figure sum. Good job if you can get it …

Ella, who was forced to close two cafes after racking up losses, is training to become a yoga teacher and begins a 200-hour class later this month.
And to take away any doubts that her descendant dog is not up to the task, she posted a photo on Instagram of herself doing a handstand with the caption: “You have to do what you have to do to stay happy, balanced and calm. ‘
I suspect she will tell us soon how it’s done too …
