Kangana recently spoke with ANI about taking on the director role for the second time. “The Emergency is an undeniable part of recent history and I feel like it will click with audiences. Since the teaser dropped, it’s become number 1, it’s taken the nation by storm and it’s validation that this is what people are hungry for. It’s not that people don’t want content, they want to see young filmmakers, new thought process and refreshing ideas and not the typical stale formula films. I think my instinct as a filmmaker will pay off. See you at the cinema next year.”
