As apartment buildings and residential towers continue to appear for humans in town, St. Pete’s cars also have their own condos. Motocave, a luxury car sharing service, has announced the start of sales of its upcoming vehicle storage units at 2501 Gandy Boulevard.
In fact, air-conditioned, customizable units are available for boats, RVs, and just about any motorized vehicle. The first project of its kind in Pinellas County, the new experiential storage concept is the brainchild of partners DDA Development, Mosk Development Company, and Commercial Partners Realty, Inc.
Motocave will offer 43 of its automotive condos, ranging in size from 918 to 1,591 square feet, and the 55,000 square foot facility will also include a sizable community pavilion available for events and relaxation. Construction is expected to begin this fall, with an opening date of mid to late 2023.
The 3.7-acre property was selected for its accessibility to the greater Tampa Bay area, located along Gandy Blvd and adjacent to I-275. The land will be guarded on all sides by a fence and an automatic gate, providing enhanced security for luxury cars.
Each condo also includes a bathroom, and although it is forbidden to live inside the units, owners are free to bring furniture and decorations to furnish their condo as they see fit. For more information or to reserve a unit, visit motocavetampabay.com.
“Motocave is a one-stop destination for your luxury storage needs,” said Bowen Arnold, DDA’s Director of Development. “Our units are a blank canvas and will be highly desirable for anyone looking to create a personal lifestyle experience around their luxury car or motorhome. We can add all the amenities a homeowner wants, from elevators and machinery to TVs and sound systems. »
