1947 Cowboy Cadillac
Considered one of the most famous vehicles in the city of Los Angeles, this custom 1947 Cowboy Cadillac is almost synonymous with the one and only collector. According to Weiss, this immediately recognizable ride, âWill never be for sale.
Boasting a powerful 502 Big Block, the Cowboy Caddy develops around 400 horsepower and packs a huge punch on the open road. This beast was built and designed by Californian legend Frank DeRosa, who specializes in customizing classic Cadillacs (and other savage creations like “The King of Mercs”).
1995 Beatnik Hot Rod Custom
Weiss has invested a full 3 years in this one of a kind hot rod, and the results don’t disappoint! The chassis of a 1955 Ford was used as the basis for the Beatnik, and custom car maker Gary Chopin went out of his way to give it a truly original look. Funny anecdote: The Beatnik is considered the largest sunroof car in the world!
Blending a futuristic interior with inspiration from Ed “Big Daddy” Roth’s original Beatnik Bandit, this design uses a Cadillac front end on an all-metal body. The exposed engine adds an extra touch to the overall aesthetics of the car!
1940 Ford COE
Also known as the International Red Truck, the Ford âCabin Engine Hoodâ is considered Weiss’ favorite vehicle, which makes sense, as it appears in nearly every episode of Storage Wars.
This 1940 model has the cabin seated above or in front of the truck’s front axle, and Ford has been refining the styling for decades. In true Barry Weiss fashion, the style merges vintage and futuristic aesthetics for a bit of sparkle and a lot of 50s cool.
Moto Guzzi 750
This bike is one for the history books! Weiss had this bad boy customized by Pro Italia, a dealer and custom garage with over 34 years of service to bikers across California.
This bike started out as a more modern Moto Guzzi V7, and Weiss spared no expense to reinvent this work of art. The design is inspired by 50s trash racers, and it’s said to have more handcrafted parts on the bike than you can count!
Ducati is known for producing motorcycles of massive power and incomparable finesse, and this particular model develops 162 horsepower with a top speed of almost 170 miles per hour. Naturally, there is one hiding in Barry Weiss’ garage!
“Hide” is absolutely the word to use in Weiss’ case – he made his debut in Season 3 of Storage wars, but information on this bike is hard to find.
1969 Norton Commando
Weiss’ Norton is so incredibly smooth that it was named âBest of Showâ in Cycle World’s Anniversary Contest of Elegance. Customized by industry expert Kenny Dreer, this squad features a killer “Lucky Devil” graphic smeared across the forest green fuel tank.
The 4-stroke parallel twin engine hidden under this custom 750 Fastback boasts a top speed of 58 horsepower and the body has been fitted with a custom mount to accommodate a larger battery.
1987 Jaguar XJ8
The Jag is a force to be reckoned with, especially the XJ8. The only known supercar in Weiss’ collection, it was worth around $ 94,000 when it was released. This 2-door model is quite formidable, equipped with a V12 engine that can go 0-60 in just under 7 seconds. Not bad for his age!
As beautiful as it is, this Jaguar has not been seen in recent years; we don’t know why, but it’s a shame not to see him make his way on the highway.
1957 Ford Ranchero
The Ranchero is categorized as a coupe utility vehicle, adding a truck bed to the existing 2-door cab style. For Barry Weiss, this first-gen classic is just another beautifully preserved (and updated) piece of history.
The Y-Block V8 is mounted on a 116-inch wheelbase, slightly shorter than most others of its kind. This particular coupe is one of Ranchero’s very first models, which operated from 1957 to 1959.
1939 Lincoln Zephyr Coupe
Truly a sight to see, Weiss scored this wicked, clean, Batmobile-inspired machine for a very low price! The 1939 Zephyr was valued at $ 300,000, but The Collector marked it for $ 60,000 at an auction in 2013.
Weiss’s Zephyr houses a powerful V12 engine and 3-speed transmission, and it’s fitted with an insane flamethrower exhaust. As it was in relatively good condition at the time of the auction, Weiss mainly focused on visual modifications to breathe new life into the vehicle.
The collector will do everything to discover the most incredible rides on the market, and the Maserati Granturismo by Weiss is one of his finest finds to date! The engine was built in collaboration with Ferrari, giving it impeccable power and a killer sound on top of that.
This sleek whip costs around $ 50,000 and the power under the hood is worth every penny. With 400 hp and a top speed of around 177 miles per hour, this is arguably one of the strongest competitors in its garage.
