This collaboration between Converse and the South Korean streetwear imprint is never centered on the Converse archives which focus on ’90s vibes made in washed out colors, materials and unique style.
The thisisneverthat x Converse New Vintage collection is showcased by the Converse One Star and Converse Chuck 70. The One Star features a premium blue nubuck upper contrasted by worn black rubber midsoles. Other details include retro bumpers, metal eyelets, stiff black laces, and bright green rubber outsoles. The Converse Chuck 70 uses soft suede placed over distressed midsoles. Design details include Black contrast stitching and the same green rubber outsoles and metal eyelets seen on the One Stars. Details shared on both models include serial number text on the midsole, engraved lace aglets, special woven labels, patches and number plates on the heel.
The thisisneverthat x Converse New Vintage collection will also include garments such as French fleece utility fleece, utility zip-up jacket with riddled pockets, t-shirt, woven pants and beanie.
