Ursuline Sisters holding the sale of antique and vintage objects

This is a paid version.

Join the Ursuline Sisters for a sale of items from the former Mount Saint Joseph Academy and Retreat Center from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 26, 2022, at the Mount Auditorium, 8001 Cummings Road, Maple Mount, Kentucky, just 12 miles west of Owensboro.

The building is being deconstructed later this year, so everything has to go! Important artifacts from the history of the Ursuline Sisters are preserved, but many valuable pieces will be available for sale, as well as period items with special meaning for those who love Maple Mount. It’s also a great sale if you just need items for your home. Everything is priced to move! The Mount Gift Shop will also be open and items will be sold there for half price.

Photos of items for sale can be found on the Ursulines website at this address, www.ursulinesmsj.org/antique-sale. They include antiques such as a wardrobe, a secretaire, a chest of drawers and cabinets of curiosities. Bedroom dressers and tables, sofas, dining and kitchen chairs, recliners, lamps, wall hangings, glasses, candle holders and an abundance of other items are for sale. Groups that need tables and chairs can also find something to buy. The sale will take place from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on March 26, at the Mont Saint-Joseph Auditorium.

No items will be sold or shown in person prior to sale unless otherwise stated. Credit cards, checks and cash will be accepted. Buyers must pick up their items the same day. This is a one day sale only! All sales are final. Please wear a mask in the building for everyone’s safety.

For questions on specific items, contact Martha Alle at [email protected]or 270-229-4170.

We hope to see you on March 26!
