It’s leisure week at Aldi, which actually means all handyman, with the selection including these cute vintage-style sewing boxes.
That’s right. These aren’t vintage and aren’t from a trendy retailer (I’ll let you guess the name of this one). Most of the items in the line are what you would probably call functional, but the sewing boxes are the stars of the show for me.
To be fair, these are also functional, but there’s a good dose of style too – and all for a budget price.
Choose from two models and two different finishes, heart-shaped and rectangle-shaped, as well as a âSpring Floralâ or âDitsy Floralâ finish. I quite like the finishes, which have something of a mid-century Scandinavian vibe about them.
All of them have a padded exterior, a removable storage tray, a carrying handle, a magnetic closure and of course, a pin pad inside. Not huge in terms of storage capacity, but if you’re just an occasional weekend craftsman, this might be just what you need.
There is, of course, another attractive factor about this range, which is the price. Yes of course it’s Aldi so you can be sure it’s ridiculously cheap and will likely sell out really quickly.
But it’s in stock online now and if there’s any stock left, it will be in your local Aldi store from September 13th. Only £ 6.99 for the design you choose.
